I decided to try time travelling at a different time rate. I chose the Sadgamaya Express … shuttling between ‘now’ and the ‘Vedic period’. Should meet the Rishi who wrote the Brihadaranyaka upanishad! It’s not as silly as you all think. We know ‘Asato Ma Sadgamaya, Tamso Ma Jyotirgamaya, Mrityorma Amritam Gamaya’ just as pavamana mantras chanted during Somabali. See that the great yogi was addressing somebody or something like Ultimate Light or Truth. We don’t know anything about it and the Rishi also hasn’t elaborated on it. I know light and darkness but death and immortality are not clear. A few more doubts are left.
Have these saintly persons fooled all those who argued that everything in this universe has some degree of intelligence? According to scientists, the solar system is an intelligent body. They called the managing intelligence, consciousness. Without an equally paramount intelligence, how could this system move in so beautiful a harmony? Since the only thing that connects all the elements in the Solar System is the space, it should be the space that holds this intelligence network. What is special with innovative scientists is that they keep scratching on everything they come across. That’s why they could reach even much beyond the indivisible. What they saw in an atom too was more or less a mini solar system.
Very recently, Physics got one ‘sub’ called Quantum Physics. I could find some funny conclusions there too. Their ‘wave-particle duality theory’ says that an electron is not limited to a particle and it’s equally a waveform too. They have summed up that the intelligence that an atom hold is many times bigger than that the solar system contains. They claim that an electron too is divisible like a planet in the Solar system. They argue that energy has many levels of subtlety and at each level the intelligence it contains is many millions fold more. In extreme subtlety, the ruling intelligence will be such that it knows what exactly I am thinking and doing now. People call this level ‘Super Consciousness”. Are these conclusions relating to that Light to which the Rishi poet was praying? It could be, though I’m not fully sure! Also, it is said that the end of science is religion.
Sri Sri Yogananda Paramahamsa refers to this subtlety concept with the imagery of a piano playing in different octaves. Where are these Octaves of ‘Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, and Si going to end? Beyond 20,000 cycles per second, we cannot hear.…. Theoretically there could not be an end on either side. The so-called Truth or the ultimate intelligence should be at the extremes. Sri Sri Yogananda Paramahamsa, further said in a very low voice – there are no tips at either end. It’s a mystery! I don’t know if the author Rishi of the mantra also might suggest the same mystery!
Time travel is the idea of moving between certain points in time. Using a hypothetical machine called time machine, stories of time travelling to past and future are heard. Time travelling stores refer even to a space beyond our imagination. It was through the novel ‘The Time Machine’ by H G Wells that the general public began to seriously think of this concept. Here, things happen outside the periphery of our usual perception of time. Lot of mythological stories and literary creations are there dealing the idea of time travelling. In Hindu mythology there is the story of King Raivata Kakudmi, who went to heaven to meet Brahma. But when he returned, he found that many Ages had passed on earth.
